TOWN OF DUXBURY RECOGNIZED AT VERMONT STATE HOUSE

On February 14th at the Vermont State House, a resolution celebrating Duxbury’s 250th Anniversary was read and approved by the Vermont House of Representatives. In attendance were Greg Trulson, Willie Docto, Rep. Maxine Grad, Stephanie Koonz (Chair of the Duxbury 250 Committee), Mame McKee, Eulie Costello, Kim Greenwood, Don Welch (President of the Duxbury Historical Society), Mary Welch and Rep. Adam Greshin (not pictured).

The Duxbury 250 Committee invites residents from Duxbury, neighboring towns and other visitors to participate. The Committee is also seeking volunteers to help organize and staff the various events. More information can be found at www.duxbury250.com.
