Vermont State House, MontpelierWaitsfield has been awarded a $264,182 grant from the Vermont Community Development Program on Thursday, March 10th. The funds will be used to assist the Waitsfield Village Meeting House with flood proofing, safety and accessibility improvements. The grants are funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant Program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. I want to thank Senator Patrick Leahy, Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Peter Welch for their ongoing support for this program. Congratulations to Waitsfield and the other recipient communities!
